Life is full of constant changes that can often be overwhelming and lead to/uncover larger concerns.
Transitions usually come as a gain or a loss. Examples can include:
New job/Lost job
Death of a loved one

SPORTS COUNSELING
This work is open to anyone who identifies as an athlete- high school, college, professional, and retired.
Creating mental wellness for the individual first, developing identity that is more than "just the athlete" while navigating demands of the sport, performance, and career transitions.

ANXIETY
Anxiety is a normal reaction to stress that can keep us alert and prepared, but sometimes it does its job a little too well.
Anxiety symptoms can include:
Excessive worry that is hard to control
Impaired concentration
Difficulty sleeping
Edgy/Restless

I utilize an evidenced based model of CBT in order to give you skills to combat your anxiety.

MATERNAL MENTAL HEALTH
Here we focus on the wellbeing of new moms
(DADS ARE WELCOME TOO!)
The process of creating a little human is tough. Parents can see episodes of anxiety, depression, and need a space to normalize and cope with their new experiences. Teaching moms to recognize their strengths and learn skills to handle all the changes being brought their way.
